Why does the app need Accessibility Service API, or Accessibility Permission

Power Menu uses Accessibility Service API for essential functions such as:

• Opening the power menu (In-App Button, Widget, Quick Launch Shortcut)
• Locking Screen (Widget, Quick Launch Shortcut)
• Taking a screenshot (Quick Launch Shortcut)
• Toggling Split Screen (Quick Launch Shortcut)

The app strictly utilizes the accessibility permission solely to support the core features mentioned above. It does not collect or transmit personal or sensitive data from users. Note that Accessibility Service API is a necessary requirement for Power Menu to operate.

How to access the "Lock Screen" widget?

For devices running Android version 7.1 ~ 13

1. Tap and hold the Power Menu app icon to display available options.
2. You can then select and drag the preferred option to your home screen launcher.

For devices running Android version 5.0 ~ 7.0

1. Access "add widget" from your home screen launcher and locate "Lock Screen".
2. Drag the widget to your home screen launcher to create an app icon on your home screen.

Important: Please be aware that this app cannot power on a device. Due to physical constraints, Android applications cannot initiate when the phone is turned off, making it impossible to power on any phone with an Android app. The purpose of this app is to mitigate the deterioration of the power button, not as a complete replacement. It is advisable to use the app when your power button exhibits poor contact before complete failure occurs. Limit unnecessary physical button usage and only utilize it when essential, such as when starting the phone. If your power button is already malfunctioning, it may be too late.

Important: The screenshots and video tutorials showcase the power menu of the Android emulator; however, the actual power menu displayed will reflect the default power menu of your specific device, varying based on your device manufacturer and Android version.
